Carlos made his film debut in 2013 with the critically acclaimed short film "Nina del Tango,"

directed by Jason Eberly. Premiering in Los Angeles and New York, the film was an official

selection at eleven international festivals, including two Oscar-qualifying events, earning Carlos

a nomination for Best Actor at the Silent River Film Festival. His subsequent film, "In the

Ring," directed by Mesha Kussman, was featured in the Short Film Corner at the 2018 Cannes

Film Festival.

Based in Los Angeles, Carlos expanded his artistic endeavors by joining Shia LaBeouf’s theater

company, "Slauson Rec," further developing their acting careers. He appeared on popular TV

shows such as CBS's "Why Women Kill," "Seal Team," "Millionaire Matchmaker," and "The

Martha and Snoop Show," and featured in commercials for Audi, Geico, Princess Cruises,

Motorola, and Hennessy. The duo has also been involved in documentaries including "For the

Love of Tango" and "Through the Heart of Tango."

As choreographer, performer, and celebrity coach, Carlos collaborated with industry icons such

as Shia LaBeouf, Ricky Martin, Eva Longoria, Dita Von Teese, Ellen Von Unwerth, Kate

Hudson, Goldie Hawn, Craig Robinson, Alexandra Daddario, Finn Wittrock, Farah Diba, and

Hillary Clinton. In 2022, Carlos was featured in "Gutsy," a documentary series hosted and

produced by Hillary Clinton.

In 2020, Carlos made his directorial debut with the film "Tiempo Pequeño." In 2024, Carlos and

Mayte continue to captivate audiences across North America, performing and directing the

acclaimed tango show "We Call It Tango," produced by Fever.
