Carlos Barrionuevo & Mayte Valdes

Carlos began to dance tango when he was 12 years old. Mayte began dancing ballet when she was 6 years old. Highly trained in diverse dance techniques, such as ballet, modern jazz and tango.They have performed in many different Tango shows such as, "Tango Emotion""Tango Historias Breves", "Sabor a Tango", "Tango Odisea", " Tangorama" " Chiquilin Tango", "Tango en el Maipo" "Tango historias breves" , "Tango Pasion and "Tanguera", the musical" among others. traveling throughout Chile, Uruguay ,United States, Europe, Mexico, Russia, Egypt and Asia. In Buenos Aires January 2007 Carlos and Mayte began performing together in prestigious Tango houses such as "El Viejo Almacen", " El cafe Tortonni" and Chiquin. In December 2007 They joined the cast of the company "Forever Tango" performing at the Teatro Coliseo Podesta in La Plata Argentina for the release of the companies New DVD.In 2008 they choreographed and performed for the "Teatro Zinzanni and have also performed with Pablo Zigler. Since September of 2009 they formed part of the company "Tangueros del Sur" performing at the New York city center in NYC, "Vail international dance festival" and "Jacobs Pillow dance festival" with the show "Romper el piso". Carlos & Mayte are staring as the two lead characters in "Niña Del Tango" a short film directed by Jason Eberly that will premier in Los Angeles and New york in Dicember 2011.

Mayte Valdes Mayte is highly trained in diverse dance techniques, such as classical ballet, modern jazz and tango.She began dancing when she was 6 years old. At a very early age she performed with the company " Miami City ballet". "The Nutcracker" Touring throughout Florida USA. She continued her studies in Buenos Aires Argentina at the "Teatro Colon" and with various ballet masters. Mayte was trained in Argentine Tango by the greatest tango masters in Buenos Aires. She has performed in many tango shows " Chiquilin Tango", "Tango en el Maipo" "Tango historias breves" and "Tanguera", the musical" among others. In 2004 she toured with the company "Tango Pasion" throughout Spain, Sweden, Russia and Germany. With the company Tango Buenos Aires she traveled the United States, and has also traveled Mexico, Egypt and Asia sharing her talent and passion for tango.In Buenos Aires January 2007 Mayte and Carlos began performing together in prestigious Tango houses such as "El Viejo Almacen", " El cafe Tortonni" and Chiquin. In December 2007 They formed part of the cast of company "Forever Tango" performing at the “Teatro Coliseo Podesta” in La Plata Argentina for the release of the companies New DVD.In 2008 they choreographed and performed for the "Teatro Zinzanni and Snoqualmie Casino. Mayte and Carlos have been together teaching and performing throughout US and internationally since then.

Carlos Barrionuevo Carlos began to dance tango when he was 12 years old. He developed his technique by studying the great masters of tango. He was invited to perform with Ricardo "Chiqui" Pereyra, Enrique Dumas- Raul Lavie, Maria Grana, Guillermo Fernandez and Mariano Mores. In April of 2005 he won the championship of the Patagonic Tango Festival in San Carlos Bariloche. Carlos has Performed in many different Tango shows such as, "Tango Emotion" "Tango Historias Breves", "Sabor a Tango", "Tango Odisea", and " Tangorama" among others traveling throughout Italy, Russia, Chile, Uruguay and United States and Mexico. In September 2006 Carlos was assistant choreographer of the "Teatro Argentino de la Plata" for the show "Tangomanon" . In Buenos Aires January 2007 Carlos and Mayte began performing together in prestigious Tango houses such as "El Viejo Almacen", " El cafe Tortonni" and " Chiquin Tango".
