MARIANO BIELAKBorn in Buenos Aires, in 1996 Mariano studied circus performing with teachers of the ESCUELA DE LOS HERMANOS VIDELA (School of the Brothers Videla) and at the same time initiated his formation as a tango dancer with SERGIO GRIMBERG, GLORIA and RODOLFO DINZEL, NATALIA HILLS , FRANCISCO FORQUERA, CARLOS AND ROSA PEREZ, GUSTAVO NAVEIRA AND GISELLE ANNE, RAMIRO GIGLIOTTI AND ELINA ROLDAN and other tango teachers. For a year and a half he lived in Spain, devoting himself to the circus and to the tango. On his return, he continued his dance studies at the ESCUELA DE JULIO BOCCA (School of Julio Bocca). He had a scholarship in musical comedy. His formation includes modern dance –with CRISTINA BARNILS- and folklore – with COQUI and PAJARÍN SAAVEDRA.
PAULA GURINIBorn in General Pico, began her dance studies in La Pampa. In the year 1998 she moves to Buenos Aires, and in the year 2002, she graduated with a degree in musical therapy. She has taken tango lessons since 1999 with different teachers, such as RODOLFO and GLORIA DINZEL, and then worked with them as a teacher at the UNIVERSIDAD DEL TANGO (Tango University), GUSTAVO NAVEIRA AND GISELLE ANNE, ELINA ROLDAN Y RAMIRO GIGLIOTI, NATALIA HILLS, CARLOS AND ROSA PEREZ. Involved in her formation are different teachers: COQUI and PAJARÍN SAAVEDRA in folklore, SONIA VON POTOVSKY in classical dance, SANDRA QUESADA in jazz, CRISTINA CORTES, CRISTINA BARNILS, and Juan Pablo Sierra in contemporary dance.

Carlos Barrionuevo-Mayte Valdes No Frame

Mayte Valdes: Mayte is highly trained in diverse dance techniques, such as classical ballet, modern jazz and tango.She began dancing when she was 6 years old. At a very early age she performed with the company " Miami City ballet". "The Nutcracker" Touring throughout Florida USA. She continued her studies in Buenos Aires Argentina at the "Teatro Colon" and with various ballet masters. Mayte was trained in Argentine Tango by the greatest tango masters in Buenos Aires. She has performed in many tango shows " Chiquilin Tango", "Tango en el Maipo" "Tango historias breves" and "Tanguera", the musical" among others. In 2004 she toured with the company "Tango Pasion" throughout Spain, Sweden, Russia and Germany. With the company Tango Buenos Aires she traveled the United States, and has also traveled Mexico, Egypt and Asia sharing her talent and passion for tango.In Buenos Aires January 2007 Mayte and Carlos began performing together in prestigious Tango houses such as "El Viejo Almacen", " El cafe Tortonni" and Chiquin. In December 2007 They formed part of the cast of company "Forever Tango" performing at the “Teatro Coliseo Podesta” in La Plata Argentina for the release of the companies New DVD.In 2008 they choreographed and performed for the "Teatro Zinzanni and Snoqualmie Casino. In September 2009 they joined the company "Tangueros del Sur" performing at the New York city center in NYC with the show "Romper el piso". Mayte and Carlos have been together teaching and performing throughout US and internationally since then.
Carlos Barrionuevo: Carlos began to dance tango when he was 12 years old. He developed his technique by studying the great masters of tango. He was invited to perform with Ricardo "Chiqui" Pereyra, Enrique Dumas- Raul Lavie, Maria Grana, Guillermo Fernandez and Mariano Mores. In April of 2005 he won the championship of the Patagonic Tango Festival in San Carlos Bariloche. Carlos has Performed in many different Tango shows such as, "Tango Emotion" "Tango Historias Breves", "Sabor a Tango", "Tango Odisea", and " Tangorama" among others traveling throughout Italy, Russia, Chile, Uruguay and United States and Mexico. In September 2006 Carlos was assistant choreographer of the "Teatro Argentino de la Plata" for the show "Tangomanon" . In Buenos Aires January 2007 Carlos and Mayte began performing together in prestigious Tango houses such as "El Viejo Almacen", " El cafe Tortonni" and " Chiquin Tango". MIRIAM LARICIWas Introduced to the world of dance at the early age of five. It was the very essence of disciplines and techniques of the dance that her coaches began to revere her artistry. Audiences awaited her prestigious career as a performer to unfold. Ms Larici, began her international reputation as an extraordinary performer, instructor and choreographer. Born and raised in Matheu, Buenos Aires, Argentina she was trained in classical Ballet,jazz, modern dance, acrobatic technique, Flamenco, social and stage TangoHer first Tango instructors were Gloria and Eduardo Arquimbau. Miriam has produce, directed, and choreographed Tango shows, including Tango and Fire presented in Buenos Aires and the United States; the US “Festival Internacional de Tango Argentino”; “El Corazòn de Tango” and “Tango Buenos Aires”( for Columbia Artists)Famous as the iconic image of Luis Bravo’s Broadway-London hit “Forever Tango” Miriam mesmerized viewers and critics with her artistic elegance. She was invited to dance with the show for a performing arts series “Evening at Pops“, with Boston Pops Orchestra nationally broadcasted by PBS. It was at that performance, the acclaim dancer Leslie Caron stated “…If I had to choose among tango dancers in the world, these two would be my option.” Ms Larici became a Broadway star while performing for two years at the Walter Kerr and Marquis Theater in Time Square. Her show credits includes also roles in the Broadway shows “42nd St.” and the famous musical “Me and My Girl”presented in Argentina, Laugh & Tango (US& Canada), Folies Bergere(US), Alma de Tango(Japan & Taiwan),Tango Spirit III (Japan) Tango Fiesta (US), Tango Dreams (US& Indonesia), Fusion Tango(US), I Tango (US), Santa Rosa Symphonic Tango Concert, Extreme Tango’s Tango Evolution directed by Daniel Binelli (US). Miriam Larici has been perform with many famous orchestras including “Forever Tango”,”The Boston Pops” “Color Tango” Dir, Roberto Alvarez, “Esemble Hyperion”, “Adrover’s Quintet”, “Los Angeles philarmonic Orchestra”, Norberto Ramos, Ryota Komatsu,Eroica Trio, Daniel Binelli and The Santa Rosa Symphonic. She has appeared on television in many countries worldwide, including: Argentina, Italia(RAI), Japan, Mexico (televisa), South Korea, USA(various). She also danced in the film Mambo Kings. Besides producing the “US Festival de Tango Argentino” for the last three years, she has been a featured perfomer and instructor at: 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, &10 th, Nora's Tango Week 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007;1st,2nd,&3rd NJ Tango Extravaganza 2005, 2006, 2007; 2nd torino Tango Fest, Italy 2002 Tango Seduction Fall Festival,Seoul, Korea 2006; New Orleans Tango Fest 2003, 2008; 9th encuentro con los grandes,Madrid Spain 2005; 1st,3rd 5th Tampa Tango Fest 2002, 2004, 2006;1st& 2nd Carlos Gardel Tango Fest N. LEONARDO BARRIONUEVOHas trained in an exquisite Tango style with some of the best Milongueros of the night of Buenos Aires as well as in contemporary dance, jazz and partnering technique. He has performed and/or choreographed in many tango shows in Argentina, Europe and Latin America. These includes: "Tango Sur", "Adios Pampa Mia," "Una Noche de Tango","Tango Evolution". In 2002 He toured several cities in Italy for the Rassegna Internazionale del folklore, with the company TANGO SUR. "Che Tango" in the "Cafe Tortoni" in Buenos Aires Argentina, also futured with one of the most famous Tango orchestra of Argentina "Juan de Dios Filiberto." In 2005 he toured with the show "Sabor a Tango" throughout Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela. Leonardo has achieved first place in many tango festivals throughout Argentina such as: "Festival Patagonia y Tango" 2004 and " Festival Mayen Leufur" in Rio Negro Argentina among others. He has also starred in the show "Rojo Tango" at hotel "Faena" in the city of Buenos Aires. In 2007, Leonardo joined the London/Broadway hit “FOREVER TANGO”and has been touring with the company for the past year at major cities of United States,He also performed for the National television on PBS starring at the Forever Tango film. Mastery, intensity, passion and magic are now blended with Leonardo Barrionuevo and Miriam Larici dancing together since June 2008. Svetlana Petkovic No Frame

SVETLANA PETKOVICTrained at the prestigious Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, Svetlana Petkovic has been performing and teaching dance for over 30 years. She has been a principal dancer throughoutEurope and the United State, performing at an international level in a variety of styles: Classical Ballet, Character Dance, Eastern European Folk Dance, Historical Dance, Flamenco, Escuela Bolera (classical spanish dance), and Argentine Tango, also teaching and lecturing at Conservatoire de musique de la Ville de Luxembourg, University of New Mexico, University of Idaho, University of Arizona, National Public Radio, and various Argentine tango festivals throughout the U.S. Former Artistic Director of the Grande Opera Theater and Zarzuela de Albuquerque, she is the current Artistic Director of QTANGO. She currently resides in Albuquerque where she teaches privately.

Tony Fan - Ilana Rubin No Frame

TONY FAN & ILANA RUBINIlana Rubin and Tony Fan bring to the tango a life-long interest in dance. They were both trained in ballet and modern dance, and bring to tango an exciting, accessible, individual style. Ilana's extensive dance training includes modern dance with Martha Nishitani, as well as ballet and folk dancing. She performed for five years with Radost, Seattle's premiere folk dance ensemble. Tony started his dance career studying modern ballet. Later, he continued with ballroom dancing before he discovered the Argentine tango. Together, they have studied with such notable dancers: Osvaldo Zotto and Lorena Ermocida, Susanna Miller, Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa, Esteban Moreno and Claudia Codega, Gabriel Angio and Natalia Games, and Graciela Gonzalez. Tony and Ilana have been dancing the Argentine tango together for over fifteen years. The beauty of their movement comes from their maturity in the dance, strong connection and deep respect for the music.Tony and Ilana are fabulous dancers and inspirational instructors. They have the special gift of excellent teaching. They take a creative approach to tango, and combine musicality with a superb analysis and breakdown of the individual movements. Their classes are fun, informative, well thought out and presented. Tony and Ilana teach a regular curriculum of tango classes in Seattle. Their lessons, which focus on understanding the building blocks and musicality of tango, have grown increasingly popular since their first weekly classes in 1996. They are now leading one of the major tango schools in Seattle and offer special workshops around cities in the west coast.

Jorge Nel

JORGE NEL GIRALDOProfessor of physical education and dancehe has been teaching and dancing for over 30 years. The city of Miami has given him a proclamation naming the 15th of May as the day of Jorge Nel for being the pioneer of tango in Florida.He has participated in films dancing tango, one of the films is RandomHearts with Harrison Ford, another film with Celia Cruz and Al Pacino. Jorge directed his own dance company, Tango Fever, for over 10 years. He was the last dancer acting alongside Libertad La Marque, diva of theHispanic cinema and Jorge was one of the first tango entrepreneurs to start the Tango Festivals in the United States. At present he is considered one of the best salon tango dancers in his country and is currently well recognized in the United States for his Milonga interpretation.

Milena Buitrago

SANDRA MILENA BUITRAGO Sandra Milena Buitrago, has been performing since being cast in 2002 in the prestigious Danzarte Tango Company, where she appeared until 2004. In 2005 she partnered with Mr Tango, Jorge Nel Giraldo, thus enbarking on a successful career, traveling and teaching the Milonguero Style in Colombia, USA, and Canada. She was national runner-up three times in the Tango Salon division in prestigious championships in Colombia in 2008-2009; in Manizales her town she was national champion in Tango Salon in 2010 and in turn was National Runner-up in Stage Tango at the same event. She represented Colombian in the World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2010. Participating in festivals across USA , she is currently working alonside her husband and stage tango partner Andres Bravo on their newest project, "Three toTango ", featuring three different styles of dance.
